How to change the way the quarry transports ore between dangerous places?

Before modern quarries used professional loading equipment to transport tons of massive ore, "Blondin" was the hero of ore transportation. This aerial rope device is an aerial ropeway used in Welsh open-pit slate quarry, which is used to lift and transport trucks full of rocks, usually between two hard-to-reach areas. The concrete way is to hang the cable above the open quarry and install a crane pulley on the cable, which can roll back and forth on the cable. During the operation, the pulley is moved to the rock pile, the height is lowered for loading the rock, and then it is lifted to carry the rock to the place where it needs to be unloaded.

Workers in Welsh quarries rise from the bottom of the mine through the Blondin.

The earliest use record of Blondin in the mining industry is that Blondin was first installed in Peng Lin Quarry in 1931. Peng Lin Quarry is located in a mine pit about 120 meters deep, and the workplaces are distributed on various terraces. Peng Lin quarry operators use various methods to transport slate from the terrace to the processing plant. Because there are slopes between many terraces, "Blondin" was developed to directly connect remote terraces and processing plants.

But where did the name "Blondin" come from? This can be traced back to the great Charles Blondin, a 19th-century French high-altitude steel cable challenger. His feat of not fearing death inspired generate, a quarrying factory, to apply steel cable as a technology to its own industry. Blondin is famous for his elegance and agility. He is well-known for crossing Niagara Falls on the US-Canada border on a steel cable with a length of 340 meters and a diameter of 8 centimeters and suspended 50 meters above the water. He accomplished this feat for the first time in 1859. After that, he also challenged the overweight, sometimes blindfolded and sometimes pushing a unicycle. He also tried to walk on stilts or cross the canyon with his agent on his back. On another occasion, he even sat in the middle of the wire rope above the canyon, made an omelet and ate it. Unexpectedly, Blondin died of diabetes at his home in London at the age of 73. He has become synonymous with tightrope walking, and many performers later used his name to describe their performances. Moreover, before the presidential election in 1864, abraham lincoln compared himself to "Blondin on a tightrope, pushing a unicycle carrying American values slowly in front of him."
